The Building Maintenance professional supports the Head Start and Early Head Start programs by ensuring that all facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained for children, families, and staff. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections, addressing building and equipment needs, and helping create a safe and welcoming environment for program operations.
The position requires practical skills in building systems, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. By maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality, the Building Maintenance professional plays a key role in supporting the success of Head Start services.
